We are saddened by the passing on September 1, 2026 of a dear friend and great supporter of Square Dancing and Circle 8. Pam has been involved with Circle 8 since her and Alan have been in the Wichita area. Please keep Alan and family in your thoughts and prayers.

Circle 8 celebrated 80 years as a club this year. Our May 12 dance is the season finale! Throughout the season dancers have been punching cards for each tip danced or round dance completed, with some being double punches. Join us as we conclude our 80th year and see who danced 80 tips through the season for special prizes. All dancers will get a chance to win!
Mike Turner will be starting the evening off with rounds at 5:30pm. Tammy Gough will lead everyone in a fun evening of square dancing with prizes awarded throughout the evening. A night you certainly don’t want to miss.
Fun and games can be had at the Park City Senior Center, 1811 Stuard Dr, Park City, KS 67219.
Circle 8 welcomes all to meet the fantastic group of new square dancers as they become graduates on March 22, 2026. Many great dancers. The dance starts at 5:30pm with Rounds with Kevin and Diane Denning. Square Dancing starts at 6pm with Tammy Gough.
This will be our first dance at the new Senior Center in Park City, Kansas. Join us to meet the new students and also see the new Senior Center built in Park City!
Circle 8 is celebrating our 80th year as a club in Kansas with a pair of special dances on March 8, 2026. Travis Cook – Louisville, KY will be the featured caller with Betty Skillet – Emporia, KS will be the featured cuer. These dances will be held at:

Circle 8 square dance lessons for Jan 24 are canceled owing to the weather. Stay warm. We will resume on Jan 31. See everyone then.
Come down to Park City Senior Center Saturday, January 10 at 9:30am to learn what square dancing is all about. No experience needed. Come even if you have two left feet.
Please join Circle 8 as we celebrate the new year with our annual New Years Eve dance. Pre-Plus starts at 8:00pm with Mainstream beginning at 8:30 pm with Tammy Gough calling for us. We will dance, eat and have fun until the clock rings us into the new year.
We will have games throughout the evening with breakfast served towards the end. Dance held at Park City Senior center – 6100 N Hydraulic Ave, Park City Kansas.

Circle 8’s next dance is our annual benefit dance for Sleep in Heavenly Peace (https://shpbeds.org/). This organization has a local chapter in the Wichita area where they have built and supplied many beds to youth in the Wichita and the surrounding area. Dancers are encouraged to bring twin size bedding or blankets.
Tammy Gough and her “Angels” will be calling the dance with Mike Turner performing rounds. All dance proceeds go to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Rounds with Mike start at 5:30pm with Mainstream dancing starting at 6:00pm. Dancing at the Park City Senior Center at 6100 N. Hydraulic Ave, Park City, KS.

Circle 8 continues to celebrate 80 years of dancing by hosting a dance led by Darryl Lipscomb from Oklahoma. Anyone that had danced to Darryl knows of his smooth dancing and clever chorography. Darryl starts the evening of September 28 at 5:30pm with pre-plus with mainstream following at 6pm. Dance is located at Park City Senior Center, Park City, KS just North of Wichita on I-135.
For those that also dance Advanced A1/A2, Darryl will be calling an advanced dance hosted by Diamond Classics from 1pm – 3:30pm also at the Park City Senior center.
